Meet the Board

  • Cheri Hasburgh

    CO-FOUNDER

    ​Cheri has run Sayulita Fútbol Club for many years and advocated for the equal treatment of the women’s team. She and her husband have been homeowners in Sayulita for twenty years and raised their kids here until high school. She is excited to move back to Sayulita full-time and dedicate more time to Mujeres Movimiento's sponsored projects.

  • Kathy Nicoletti

    CO-FOUNDER

    Kathy has spent close to 40 years as an educator both in the States and abroad. Through her work, she came to appreciate the challenges women face every day. Having once served as the director of the local international school in Sayulita, Kathy returned to Sayulita in hopes of assisting local women address some of those challenges.

  • Gloria Serrano

    BOARD MEMBER

    Happy to share her own experiences, learn about other women, and witness the transformation of a person. Gloria joined Mujeres Movimiento because of her love and passion for community-based projects. She can’t wait to collaborate with the women of Sayulita and play a part in helping them realize their dreams.

  • Liz Price

    BOARD MEMBER

    Liz lives with her family in Colorado Springs. Her husband and she own Rocky Mountain Restaurant Group and have had the pleasure to live and work throughout the state of Colorado. She is a certified teacher, has taught middle and high school cooking, swimming, health, and independent living classes. Her favorite activities are usually with her family and friends, skiing, traveling, biking, yoga, and eating. She is excited to be part of Mujeres Movimento Board of Directors because she sees this as an opportunity to grow, learn and have fun with women on how to create areas for economic security and stability for Nayarit women and their families.
