Class Policies
Need to reschedule or take a break from classes ?
We understand that things change and that may mean taking a break from your Spanish classes. Please review the situations below and follow the steps as directed.
With any additional questions please contact: spanish@mujeresmovimiento.com
Class Policies
Payment
• Billing takes place on the 1st of each month for the full monthly amount of your plan based on class frequency (1, 2 or 3 lessons per week). Once a student selects their initial plan, they will be invoiced for the remaining classes in the month before recurring billing begins.
• We ask students to cover the 3.5% card processing fee. This greatly helps sustain our program and keep class pricing low.
Student Cancellation
• Students who need to cancel a single upcoming class must provide a 12-hour notice and cancel the class via the TutorBird portal. Students who wish to take a vacation (of no more than 2 weeks off) from classes must notify the teacher and cancel the lessons through the portal. The very first class is non-refundable.
• In both cases, students will be entitled to make-up credits that must be used within 45 days after the lesson was cancelled.
• Students who do not provide a 12-hour notice or no-show, may not reschedule the class and will not be refunded.
Student Break from Classes
(More than 2 Weeks)
• Students who wish to take a break longer than two weeks must provide a 2-week notice to the admin team (spanish@mujeresmomvimiento.com). The following month's payment will be adjusted and no refund will be given for the current month. We cannot guarantee that the same time slot with the same teacher will be available upon return unless payments are continued.
Student Leaves the Program
• Students who can no longer continue with their lessons must provide a 2-week notice to the admin team (leonarda.mujeres.mov@gmail.com). Students will be able to finish lessons already paid and their future payments will be cancelled. No refunds will be offered.
• Students who no-show for two classes in a row and do not respond to emails from the Mujeres Movimiento team may be removed from the schedule and no refund or rescheduling options will be given.
Teacher Cancellations and Teacher Vacation
• If a teacher needs to cancel a class or take a vacation, students are given the option to reschedule the lesson, or their payments will be automatically credited for the class on the following month’s invoice.
